AA airfield firetrucks are designed for transporting crews, fire-extinguishing agents, fire-fighting and rescue equipment to the emergency sites; for fire-fighting and rescue operations using the transported stock of fire-extinguishing agents, fire-fighting and rescue tools; for supplying water and mechanical foam by means of hand-held and stationary fire monitors; for supplying water and mechanical foam by means of medium-expansion foam generators; for supplying water and mechanical foam by means of the bumper unit in order to extinguish fires under aircraft wings or bodies; for runway foaming; for supplying fire-extinguishing gas by means of a bell and a piercing nozzle.

Airfield-firetruck attachments can be mounted on chassis of various brands and models.
